ENHANCED LOADING DOCK SAFETY

Within a bustling warehouse facility, the loading dock area has proportionally more accidents than any other area. OHSA estimates at least 25% of all warehouse injuries occur in the loading dock area with the highest concentration involving forklift accidents. Every year, severe fall injuries occur when the truck pulls away while the forklift operator is still loading / unloading.Using remote controlled Red / Green indicator lights greatly reduces loading dock related accidents. Mounting 2 Red / Green lights high up on both sides of the loading dock walls allows forklift drivers and others, a clear line of sight while loading / unloading is taking place. The green light is remotely activated inside to let all know within the area that the truck is safely docked. At the same time, the forklift operator remote activates the red light on the outside, warning the driver that there is forklift loading / unloading activity.
